If for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with a purchase, we invite you to review our policy on refunds and returns.

The following terms are applicable for any products that you’ve purchased from us.

Interpretation

The words in which the initial letter is capitalised have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in the singular or in the plural.

Definitions

For the purposes of this Return and Refund Policy:

“Company” (referred to as either "the Company", "We", "Us" or "Our" in this Agreement) refers to THE WOODEN STORE

“Goods” refers to the items offered for sale.

“Orders” means a request by you to purchase goods from us.

“Website” refers to mydukaan.io/thewoodenstore1, accessible from https://mydukaan.io/thewoodenstore1

“You” means the individual accessing or using the service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the service, as applicable.

Return and refunds - The Wooden Store

How do I Cancel an item purchased at The Wooden Store?

• Cancellation in Case of Damage: In case you receive a damaged or defective product, bring it to the notice of delivery personnel immediately at the time of delivery and report a complaint by calling / WhatsApp +91 7999882132
  Damage & defect will be assessed in 72 hours, and a solution will be provided. If in the opinion of The Wooden Store, the product is broken, it may be returned/replaced, or any other corrective measure may be taken, as deemed appropriate by The Wooden Store, to address the issue.
• Cancellation in case of Wrong Product: If the product does not comply with the specifications as per your original order, raise the issue immediately & report it by calling / WhatsApp +91 7999882132
• Cancellation in case of Change in Requirement: You can cancel your order for any product within 24 hours of placing it, and a full refund will be initiated pertaining to the order. Post the 24-hour window, no cancellation will be entertained. However, the cancellation can only be done if the product is in the pre-production stage. Cancellation is not possible after a product has been dispatched from the national/regional warehouse.
• We do not cancel/refund any decor/furnishing/lamp & lighting orders as these are third-party products and are directly dispatched from the vendor's warehouse to the customer. Hence, any such queries for refund/cancellation are not entertained once the order is confirmed.
• You must address or submit the damage/defect concern within 72 hours. Any queries for damage/defect will not be entertained once the timeline is breached.
• For fragile products, customers are requested to share an unboxing video in case of damage/defect.

Return & Refund:

If you are eligible for any refund, the same shall be given to you as per the following guidelines:

• All refunds & replacement process initiation shall be subject to pick up of all cancelled items from your/customer's premises.
• Post receiving the products back to the warehouse, a refund shall be initiated within 2-3 days.
• Refunds will be initiated via NEFT, cash or by the way payment was originally made.
• Depending on the orders, the processing charges might be deducted.

Warranties:

• The product comes with a 3-year warranty which covers manufacturing defects, inherent termite and borer issues.
• This limited warranty does not apply to:
  • Small cuts, scratches or damage during the cleaning process
  • Damaged caused by the incorrect installation of a product
  • Cracks during the random displacement
  • The product kept in contact to direct sunlight and water, resulting in the decaying of wood
• With time solid woods are encountered by minor cracks, called checks, which are not included in faults and warranty as these checks do not hamper the life of a product.
• As per industry standards, unevenness up to 5 mm can happen because of the difference in surfaces and floor levels. In that case, there is no warranty.
• There is no warranty on upholstery/ coverings/ cushion covers.

Delivery:

Our support and delivery team will be in coordination with you for a hassle-free installation process.

Free delivery is only applicable for the very first attempt on a visit to your ship-to address. In case of a missed delivery, (from a customer)/ an extra visiting charge would be applicable for later installation.

Our delivery partner shall only deliver the product to the ground floor in the absence of a service lift in your apartment. (if applicable)

Extra charges were applicable for the weekend or specific-time deliveries.

Once the order has reached your nearest delivery centre and you fail to receive the products, The Wooden Store shall be free to charge for holding the products for longer.
